The story and adventures of young Ellie Dawkins, an aspiring artist who has moved to London, following her Gran’s death, to chase her dream career as an artworker for video games and animation. It’s a story for all the young artists in the modern world, and a love letter to the indie art community. Ellie is joined by nerdy flatmate, Mara Pott, and youthful party animal, Unnat with industry connections. Two months after settling in, Unnat’s former art teacher has a job for Ellie. As it’s her first art job in London, she must make a good impression! Lessons are learned, and new people are met.

I have researched the best ways to cater to dyslexic readers, and found that there is no singular way to make a version accessible for all types of dyslexia. I have done personal focus groups, and found that most people with dyslexia are able to read this particular format, but not all. I believe in accessibility and making appropriate adjustments, and want Orbus comics to be read by as many people as possible. While I was not able to cater to all types of dyslexia at this time, I hope this at least starts something new.
