After being saved by a mysterious lightning bolt, during battle with the mackalgrubers, the group are free to continue their quest to the forest of Ferly Glaise. But on the way, they meet the man who fired that lightning bolt: a strange man named Zukis. Soon after, they continue north to Ferly Glaise, with only one more obstacle in their way: the Omhana Mountains.
